Hi designer lovers! Today we are sharing our latest custom kitchen project in Durham and also the beautiful custom bathroom in this home! Spoiler alert: This master bath features a pecky cyprus vanity and it’s gooooooood! We hope you love this stylish home as much as we do!
This project features a 75 year old home built in the 1940’s that was in need of some major updates. We started by gutting the kitchen and the master bathroom to give us a blank slate for a fresh design and new layout. In the kitchen we installed white painted inset cabinets with a shiplap detail on the side panels. To really make the cabinetry pop, we created a unique glass backsplash finished in a vibrant blue paint. For contrast, we installed a honed absolute black granite counters and polished nickel hardware. The built-in units in the dining room and kitchen create a custom and detailed look that give the space a crisp and clean look. In the master bathroom, we created a custom and rich Pecky Cypress vanity that is framed in raw metal. To create a cohesive look in the space, the mirrors are also framed in metal resulting a modern and luxurious bathroom retreat.
