This Chapel Hill home features a traditional and elegant style with a thoughtful and cost-effective mix of colors and materials. To stay within budget without sacrificing style, we worked with the new designer on this project to mix manufactured cabinetry with our own custom pieces to create a high-end look. To achieve this, CKS custom-made the glass fronts on the upper cabinets, the intricate feet on the kitchen island, and the dramatic, one-of-a-kind, custom hood. Custom hood created to match the manufactured cabinetry.

The design and size of hood the designer envisioned for this project was not anything that the manufacturer offered. The solution? We made a custom hood to match the exact stain and style of the manufactured cabinetry. The designer and client envisioned the cabinet doors to be unique and not the standard glass door patterns.

To meet both needs, CKS custom-manufactured curved mullions in the style and color that matched the rest of the kitchen.
